Amory High School serves approximately 530 students in grade 9-12. The school offers a very progressive and challenging curriculum, with Advanced Placement in all core classes. Our students have excelled in academic competition on the state and national levels. All teachers at Amory High School meet National Standards for Highly Qualified Teacher.

Amory High School  sponsors twenty varsity sports, all sanctioned by the Mississippi High School Activities Association. During the past decade, Amory has won three state titles in football, two in baseball and two in softball. We have recently completed a new soccer field and a new athletic complex is in its third year of service to our student athletes.

The Haskell Foundation provides approximately $50,000 in scholarship money each year to graduating seniors of Amory High School. This money is made available through the renowned "Entertainment for Education" concert. This concert is held at Amory High School in alternating years, featuring some of the nation's biggest names in show business, such as Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Brooks and Dunn, and Kathy Ireland.

Parental involvement has perpetuated a large portion of the accomplishments listed above. The support of parents and community is the catalyst for progressive education at Amory High School.
