East Amory Elementary School opened its door in 1976 at 305 Easthaven Drive North,Amory, Mississippi. EAES if fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our school has met AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) standards for the past several years. EAES serves approximately 450 students in grades three through five.

Throughout the years, East Amory Elementary School has made significant building renovations in an effort to improve our service to students and parents. A seven room wing was added in 1995. this wing currently serves our fifth grade sstudents. Many interior changes have been made as well to enhance our facility. School year 2008-2009 brought about a tremendous change when we added a spacious physical education building adjacent to our 3rd grade hall. All P.E. classes are served here.

The faculty of EAES includes two administrators, a part-time guidance counselor, a part-time media specialist, and 23 certified teachers. All of our students have access to music and physical education classes, plus a well-equipped media center. We also have two stationary computer labs to assist with instruction.

School Report Card 2017 - 2018
Mississippi's accountability system grades are based on student achievement, student growth, student participation in testing, and other academic measures.

Special programs are available for qualifying students and Title 1, Speech, Gifted and Dare programs are also offered.  In 2008, EAES chartered the BETA Club to recognize academic excellence among fifth grade students.

East Amory Elementary School is supported by an active and committed Parent Teacher Organization. We strongly encourage you to join this organization so that you can become part of our excellence.
